Senior Manager / Director, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

Role & ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Group CEO , Chief Financial Officer and Organizational Development Director , you will have full ownership of M&A transactions and be fully accountable for their success, from origination through to post-merger integration:End-to-end deal ownership of strategic M&A transactions (acquisitions, partnerships, carve-outs)Proactive identification and screening of targets aligned with BUTEC’s strategic priorities, in Europe and across its current markets (Middle East / Africa)Structuring transaction approaches and overseeing financial analyses, valuations and business plansCoordinating and supervising due diligence processes (financial, legal, ESG, strategic)Leading negotiations and transaction structuringPreparing, presenting and defending investment cases before governance bodies (Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Board)Driving post-acquisition integration and monitoring long‑term value creationProfileTop-tier education in finance, engineering or business school8–15 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity or within a corporate M&A functionStrong understanding of the challenges and markets of construction, energy, water, infrastructure and servicesHigh level of autonomy and accountability in managing transactions , with a strong results and value-creation mindsetDemonstrated ability to make decisions, arbitrate and engage senior-level stakeholdersExcellent interpersonal, strategic and political skillsFluent in English and in French ; experience in the Middle East and/or Africa is a strong plusDirect accountability and high visibility on the Group’s strategic decisionsContinuous exposure to top managementHigh-impact, structuring transactionsAn international group in strong growth, with solid positions in Europe and the Middle East / AfricaA demanding, entrepreneurial and multicultural environmentCareer development opportunities across the Group’s marketsPosition based in Paris , with occasional travel across Europe and Middle East / Africa.#J-18808-Ljbffr
