Banker (CIB, Wealth & Private) Expert ICountry: FranceSantander CIB is looking for a high‑performing Associate / Vice President to join its Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Coverage team in Paris.You will be involved in the origination, development and management of relationships with leading Financial Institutions (banks, insurance companies, asset managers) and Public sector entities across France, Belgium and Luxembourg.Key responsibilitiesManage and develop relationships with a portfolio of Financial Institutions, with increasing exposure to senior decision‑makers (Treasury teams, CIOs, CFOs, Portfolio Managers, Trading, Network managers, etc.)Originate and coordinate business opportunities across the full range of Santander CIB solutions (DCM; ECM; Securitization; Markets: rates, credit, investment solutions; Financings; Cash Management; Trade Finance; Securities Services)Work closely with product teams and Santander’s international network to deliver tailored and coordinated solutions to clientsContribute to the definition and execution of client strategies, with a focus on revenue generation, disciplined capital deployment, cross‑selling and long‑term value creationOversee all related matters in conjunction with relevant teams including credit process with risks department, compliance & regulatory matters, business management (profitability metrics, internal reviews)Profile & SkillsAssociate/VP: minimum 4 years of experience in Corporate & Investment Banking in coverage, product team or within a treasury/markets division of a Financial Institution. Insurance sector knowledge is a plusStrong understanding of Financial Institutions and good knowledge of corporate banking products (particularly financial markets) and familiarity with investment bankingProven commercial mindset and ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationshipsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate in a demanding and international environmentStrong execution capabilities, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesFluent in French and English; Spanish is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
