Agicap is part of the French Tech 120 and has raised €145M in funding from leading VC funds.Context & Purpose of the RoleAgicap is looking for a Senior Employment Lawyer on a part‑time basis to consolidate the Legal HR scope across its seven group entities. The role reports to the VP Legal & Social Affairs and serves as the operational legal reference point for all employment‑law matters.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployment contract lifecycleDrafting, reviewing and updating employment contracts and offer letters (permanent, fixed‑term, internships, apprenticeship contracts) for the seven entitiesDrafting amendments: mobility, role changes, salary adjustments, day‑rate schemes, remote work, specific clausesAdvising on sensitive clauses: non‑compete, confidentiality, IP assignment, restrictive covenants, garden leaveTerminations & exits – legal guidance on termination procedures, active involvement in contentious cases, drafting pre‑dismissal notices, dismissal letters, settlement agreementsCalculation of exit costs: severance payments, settlement indemnities, final pay, notice, paid leave, variable compensationAnalysis and assessment of litigation risk and strategy recommendationsLegal guidance on disciplinary procedures with hands‑on involvement: pre‑sanction meetings, precautionary suspensions, sanctionsEmployment litigation – interface with external counsel, prepare evidence, draft defence documents, provide ongoing reporting to the CPOLegal support for the Works Council (CSE) – prepare consultations, information processes, risk managementHR policies & advisory – drafting and reviewing company policies (e.g., vehicle, leave, remote work, confidentiality, code of conduct, whistleblowing, travel policy)Day‑to‑day legal questions to HRBPs and People Ops – technical answers and recommendationsLegal review of HR communications addressed to employeesEmployee personal data – implementation of GDPR obligations relating to HR data processing, interface with the DPO on registers, DPIAs and data transfersImmigration & international mobility – legal advice on visas, work permits, intra‑group mobility, and interface with external counselScope & InteractionsAgicap group entities: France, Italy, UK, US, Germany, Spain, PortugalAll employee populations: permanent, fixed‑term, interns, apprentices, salaried executivesKey stakeholders: VP Legal & Social Affairs, CPO, HRBPs & People Ops, DPO, Finance & Payroll, external counsel, regulatory authorities (Labour Inspectorate, URSSAF, CARSAT)RequirementsEducation & Experience – Master’s degree (Master 2) in employment law or equivalent; 5 to 8 years of experience in a specialised law firm, in‑house role or combination; significant experience in terminations and employee‑representative bodies (CSE)Technical Skills – expert mastery of French employment law, exposure to international employment law is a plus; solid knowledge of collective agreements and litigation; working knowledge of GDPR and data protection; familiarity with Anglo‑Saxon incentive plans and international contracts; additional knowledge of UK or German law is a strong advantageSoft Skills – autonomy, speed, pragmatism, pedagogy, rigor, reliability, team spirit, discretion, integrityLanguages – French (primary), English (fluent)ConditionsContract type: CDD, part‑time (20 h per week), schedule to be agreed – ideally spread over 5 daysLocation: Lyon (preferred), Paris (possible), full remote (possible)AGICAP is committed to providing equal opportunities for everyone and fosters an inclusive work environment that values diversity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
