Job Description
In the past few years, EA has launched a transformation program aiming to standardize insurance processes and implement a Core Insurance Platform to support them, which will progressively be used by all EA entities.
This platform is now live, and the production activities are becoming more and more critical in EA's IT landscape.
The Core Insurance Platform Production Manager oversees all IT production activities around the Core Insurance Platform. His/her role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of applications and systems, optimizing development and deployment processes, providing the right level of communication to all stakeholders.
He/she will work in close contact with the rest of the IT insurance team, mainly IT POs managing the product roadmap of the different domains composing the insurance platform.

The Core Insurance Platform Production Manager oversees all IT production activities around the Core Insurance Platform. His/her role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of applications and systems, optimizing development and deployment processes, providing the right level of communication to all stakeholders.
He/she will work in close contact with the rest of the IT insurance team, mainly IT POs managing the product roadmap of the different domains composing the insurance platform.
Here are the key responsibilities and required skills for this position:
1/ Production Coordination:
- Establish and maintain IT production processes (such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management) in alignment with EA's guidelines.
- Ensure availability and performance of applications.
- Design and implement the right governance, aligned with the global governance already in place
- Manage and coordinate all external Partners in charge of maintaining the components of the Core Insurance Platform:
- Insurance platform: Duck Creek System integrator and Software editor (main partners)
- Document generator: Quadient System integrator and Software editor
- Middleware (Azure APIM and ADF) maintenance team
- Duck Creek Software editor
- Quadient Software editor
- Identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Propose solutions to enhance production efficiency and reliability.
2/ Release Management:
- Implement a robust Release Management process embedding all dependencies between systems and between initiatives (business as usual vs ongoing projects)
- Supervise deployment, maintenance, and system monitoring activities.
- Gain a global understanding of all the solutions involved.
- Coordinate a constant dialogue with IT POs, responsible for the consistency of the architecture of single modules (Policy, Billing, Claims).
- Supervise backlog management and ensure the right prioritization of tasks, aligned with EA's global priorities
- Ensure communication and reporting for all the stakeholders.
3/ Contract and budget Management
- Oversee all contractual and financial engagements.
- Manage budget, provide visibility on consumption and forecasts, and ensure the respect of yearly budget commitments.
- Lead all contractual or budget adaptations needed
4/ Security and Compliance
- Ensure data security and compliance
- Ensure that IT operations comply with standards of quality and security
Preferred Experience
- At least 10 year in delivering large IT platforms, as Project Manager and/or Production support manager
- One significant experience in delivering/managing SaaS software, ideally in insurance
- One significant experience working in English as main spoken project language
Services Management
- Experienced in Production support management for ERPs, ideally on an international scale and involving an offshore service provider
- Knowledge in standard production support processes (ITIL)
- Experienced in IT process assessment and optimization
Technical
- Experienced in ERP delivery and production support in international companies - (10 years)
- Good understanding of the implementation of SaaS software (knowledge of Duck Creek or any SaaS insurance platform is a plus
- Understanding the insurance business, travel in particular, is a plus
Team Management & Leadership
- Organized, self-sufficient with ability to evolve in matrix organization and drive change - (5 years)
- Strong capacity to enforce standard processes, but still being open to adaptation and managing the transition in a quickly evolving environment
Communication
- Excellent communicator and speaker in English, both online in written interactions, and face-to-face interaction, both with entity leads, technical stakeholders, businesses and Service Providers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- English & ideally French speaking
