About the role

The Watches & Fine Jewelry Division operates in a complex, fast-evolving environment that requires strong strategic alignment across Regions, Markets, and Corporate functions. As cross-functional initiatives multiply, the Division continuously sharpens its Strategic Planning and governance cycle to ensure clear prioritization and a shared understanding of strategic objectives. Within the CEO Office of the WFJ Division, the Strategic Planning & Governance team animates this cycle, steers key transversal projects, and ensures alignment across the Division's leadership.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Planning & Governance, the Strategic Projects Analyst contributes to the coordination of the Division's governance moments and supports key strategic and cross-functional projects, in close collaboration with teams across Marketing, Communications, Finance, Markets, Operations, and Image.

This internship sits at the heart of a high-trust environment: close to senior leadership, exposed to sensitive data, and embedded in a team where attention to detail, discretion, and reliability are non-negotiable.

What impact you create at CHANEL

Support the strategic governance cycle of the WFJ Division. Contribute to the preparation and coordination of the Division's key governance moments including the Annual Strategic Long-Term Review and its annual strategic and budget cycles. Support agenda setting based on Division and Regional priorities, calendar coordination across stakeholders, meeting minutes, and follow-up of action items.

Contribute to the coordination of key transversal projects. Support the scoping and follow-up of strategic cross-functional projects in collaboration with Division teams, Markets, and Regions, including strategic taskforces and long-term vision initiatives. Help the Division teams identify and track key strategies and initiatives throughout the cycle.

Produce executive-level presentations, analyses, and business insights. Contribute to high-quality presentations and data-driven analyses for senior audiences. Run and structure analyses combining Business, Competition, Customer, and Channel indicators with inputs from the WFJ departments, translating them into sharp, actionable strategic notes. Support the drafting and proofreading of executive communications and speeches.

Coordinate key division events. Support the organization of the WFJ Executive Committee seminar, the WFJ Leadership Team offsite, and key strategic workshops and internal communication events including agenda coordination, logistics, budget tracking, and follow-up.

What you will bring

  • A strong analytical and synthetic mindset, with the ability to produce rigorous, structured, data-driven deliverables (presentations, quantitative analyses, project tracking) and a natural capacity to take a step back


  • A perfect command of computer tools, in particular Excel and PowerPoint


  • Excellent writing proficiency in both French and English


  • Proven discretion and reliability, with genuine comfort working with sensitive data and alongside senior leadership


  • Strong interpersonal skills : assertiveness, strength of conviction, and pedagogy to navigate a complex, multi-stakeholder environment with agility and clarity


  • Rigor, attention to detail, and a genuine sense of ownership over the quality of one's work


  • A results-oriented, proactive posture, comfortable taking initiative in a changing and demanding environment


  • A strong interest in the luxury, Watches & Fine Jewelry sectors


Profile

  • Student from a top-ranked Business or Engineering School (or equivalent), ideally with a major in Strategy, Finance, or Consulting, in an international context


  • Ideally a first experience in governance, project management, consulting, or the luxury sector


  • An appetite for leading or supporting complex projects that require change management and the involvement of multiple teams
