As a Senior Expert Strategic Sourcing (MEP), you will strengthen Exyte's regional supply chain capabilities in France. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies for Mechanical, Electrical and Process (MEP) equipment, work packages, and installation scopes-ensuring competitive commercial outcomes and reliable project execution.
Operating at the intersection of engineering, construction, procurement, and project management, you will play a key role in building a resilient supplier network and enabling efficient, predictable project delivery across the region.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional MEP sourcing strategies (e.g. HVAC, piping, electrical systems, instrumentation, installation services) aligned with global category management
• Establish, negotiate, and manage Master Framework Agreements (MFAs) with key suppliers and subcontractors
• Build and maintain a strong regional supplier base, including OEMs and installation contractors
• Identify and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance (TCO approach)
• Lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), including performance reviews, governance, and risk mitigation
• Support project teams during tendering and execution with sourcing strategies, supplier insights, and cost inputs
• Evaluate opportunities to optimize sourcing models (e.g. direct procurement vs. subcontracting structures)
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, EHS regulations, and local requirements
• Provide regional market intelligence (pricing, supplier capacity, lead times) and contribute to global category strategies
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Procurement, and Operations teams

Show your expertise

• 7-10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing / procurement within MEP, EPC, life sciences, semiconductor, data centers, or similar industries
• Strong track record in developing sourcing strategies, negotiating commercial agreements, and delivering measurable value
• Solid understanding of MEP equipment, installation methods, and construction project environments
• Experience managing suppliers and subcontractors, including performance and risk management
• Strong analytical skills (cost modelling, benchmarking, supplier evaluation)
• Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or Business; certifications are a plus
• Fluent in English & French (min. C1 Level)
