We are currently seeking a Subcontract Manager, reporting directly to our Head of Subcontract to join our Subcontract team based in Nanterre/La Défense. Please note that this position would require a long-term expatriation to the construction site related to our projects, such as BP NZT, Commonwealth and others. These projects are located in the UK, USA, Middle East or Asia.

About the mission we offer you:
At Home Office, you:
- Participate in the subcontracting management strategy development.
- Implement and perform subcontracting management process (including prime contract flow down, procedures issuance, bidder long list, master bid package, construction manhours estimate, evaluation of subcontractors...).
- Perform negotiation, formation and award of formal subcontracts.
At Site, you:
- Ensure field administration of subcontracts (change orders and back-charges management, invoicing, contractual letters, ) until subcontracts' closeout.
- Protect Technip Energies from claims, disputes and arbitration.
- Ensure formal assessment of the subcontractors' performance.
- Manage a team of 5-10 Subcontact Engineers, coordinate their activities, assess their performance and ensure competencies development.
About you:

To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:
- At least 10 years' experience in subcontracting activities, with both activities in proposal phase (Home Office) and execution phase at Site.
- A previous experience to subcontracting in engineering, estimation, civil engineer, process design would be a plus.
- Engineer grade, having a good understanding of the Oil & Gas environment, and of the technical disciplines (civil, piping, equipment, electrical, instrumentation...).
- Good team management skills. Experience with managing a team in an hierarchical manner.
- Good interpersonal and influential skills
- Open-minded, agile, flexible
- Good communication skills and capability of manage stakeholders in different disciplines, such as estimation, planning, engineering, construction,etc.
- Fluency in professional English
- MS Office
