The EHS Lead Coordinator works under the authority of the Project EHS Manager and collaborates with project leadership and field personnel to ensure the effective implementation of Exyte's Incident Free Workplace Culture.
The role includes leading and coordinating a team of EHS Advisors on-site, ensuring operational excellence in safety management, and driving continuous improvement in risk prevention and safety culture.

• Proficient in IT tools and digital systems, with mandatory use of a digital EHS management platform on the project
2-3 year degree (Associate/Bachelor level) in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
Minimum 3+ years of experience on construction sites

The EHS Lead Coordinator works under the authority of the Project EHS Manager and collaborates with project leadership and field personnel to ensure the effective implementation of Exyte's Incident Free Workplace Culture.
The role includes leading and coordinating a team of EHS Advisors on-site, ensuring operational excellence in safety management, and driving continuous improvement in risk prevention and safety culture.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate project leadership and site personnel to ensure the implementation of safety activities across all project phases, with a strong focus on incident prevention and risk reduction
- Supervise and manage a team of EHS Advisors (typically 4-5 personnel), ensuring proper task allocation, performance monitoring, and team development
- Promote, conduct, and submit site audits. Audit work areas to identify hazards, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and strengthen a proactive safety culture. Provide coaching where necessary
- Review and improve site safety programs to ensure safety is fully integrated into the project work culture
- Participate in and oversee the preparation of risk assessments and job hazard analyses for construction activities, ensuring all necessary preventive measures are defined
- Participate in the development of task-related documentation and safety specifications and verify that all safety precautions are adequately addressed
- Maintain liaison with external organizations (clinics, fire departments, rescue teams, etc.) to ensure adequate emergency response and support
- Conduct or coordinate safety training and toolbox talks to communicate policies, procedures, and best practices to field teams
- Lead incident investigations, communicate findings, ensure proper reporting, and verify the closure of corrective actions
- Promote early reporting of incidents, injuries, near misses, and good practices, and foster recognition of proactive safety behaviors

- Assignments may take place across Europe and internationally
- International mobility is required : France as priority & Europe as a plus. Position is project based in Melun (77).
