At Eni, we are looking for a Controller to join Eni Plenitude France.

This partnership represents a major European project integrating the renewable energy business with the retail business, which will enable us to progressively increase our offering of services, infrastructure, and green energy for our customers, providing our team with greater visibility and professional growth.

Main responsibilities:
  • Support the preparation of the business plan, strategic plan, budgets, and forecasts
  • Monitor the evolution of financial and operational results from monthly closings, identifying gaps and suggesting corrective actions
  • Carry out internal reporting activities and manage P&C systems
  • Participate in the preparation of reporting for external stakeholders, including financing banks and shareholders
  • Support the configuration and implementation of SAP projects
  • Perform variance analysis (price, exchange rate, volume) on key income statement and cash flow items
  • Calculate key KPIs for renewable projects (load factor, unit prices, CAPEX, and OPEX by technology)
  • Conduct revenue analysis by route to market and fixed cost analysis by nature (industrial, G&A)
  • Perform impairment testing on renewable assets
  • Carry out economic and financial valuations for Business Development investments, including calculating key profitability indicators (IRR, NPV, LCOE), and support the investment approval process

Skills and experience required:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or Sciences
  • Relevant experience in a similar role; experience in renewable energy is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
  • Solid background in quantitative and financial analysis and investment evaluation
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with strong communication skills
