Objective
- Manage the company's technology-related Intellectual Property portfolio.
Activity
Governance
- Develop and review company's Intellectual Property strategy, together with the Intellectual Property Strategic Committee.
- Define and update company's Intellectual Property policy according to the Intellectual Property Strategy.
- Prepare and lead Patent Committee along with business and technical stakeholders.
Patent Management
- Manage, develop and valorise company's patent portfolio according to Intellectual Property Strategy and Patent Committee decisions.
- Drive invention detection and disclosure.
- Assess patentability and business interest of inventions.
- Prepare and follow-up patent applications.
- Drive patent applications legal action.
- Select, drive and monitor Intellectual Property law firms and subcontractors.
- Manage patent-related costs according to budget.
Support
- Raise awareness about Intellectual Property.
- Animate and stimulate Intellectual Property detection and protection.
- Provide general Intellectual Property and patent expertise to business, legal and technical teams.
- Advise on Intellectual Property matters in contracts, agreements, litigations, etc.
- Lead freedom-to-operate studies.
- Drive Intellectual Property watch and competitive analysis.
- Explore licensing options.
