We are currently seeking a Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist, reporting directly to the Compensation & Benefits Manager, to join our Human Resources / Compensation & Benefits team based in Nanterre / La Défense, France.

About your team

You will join the Compensation & Benefits team within the Human Resources function.
The team is responsible for compensation strategy, HR budget governance, reward policies, and workforce analytics across multiple entities and sites.

As a senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will be fully accountable for end-to-end C&B processes within your scope, leading HR budget activities, compensation governance, and data-driven decision support, while ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and consistency across the organization.

Job Description

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Main responsibilities
  • Apply the Technip Energies grading system to ensure alignment of compensation and benefits schemes across entities
  • Prepare, lead, and analyze HR budget support documentation (headcount and personnel cost evolution)
  • Lead the annual salary review process, ensuring criteria application, data integrity, and consistency
  • Build, analyze, and monitor HR budget expenses for each unit
  • Monitor manpower and workforce evolution by department, report deviations to management, and propose corrective actions
  • Analyze HR databases and produce regular statistical and quantitative reports (e.g. turnover, demographics, workforce trends)
  • Lead the definition of competitive compensation packages aligned with market practices to attract and retain high-caliber talent
  • Monitor regional and local salary and benefits structures to balance budget constraints and talent attraction/retention needs
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of reward and benefits policies at local and regional levels
  • Benchmark compensation and benefits practices against external market standards
  • Ensure data integrity and reliability within HR information systems

  • Internal: HR teams, Finance, Project Managers, Legal
  • External: Compensation consultants, benchmarking partners, external advisors

Role dimension
  • Scope: Full end-to-end responsibility for C&B processes across multiple sites within a cluster
  • HR Budget: Full ownership of budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting
  • Autonomy & complexity: Full autonomy on Compensation & Benefits processes within scope, with a high level of responsibility and complexity

About you

We would love to hear from you if you meet the following requirements:
  • Qualifications: Master's degree in Human Resources, Law, Business, or equivalent
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, HR controlling, or related fields
  • Languages: Fluent English required
  • Main skills:
    • Strong expertise in compensation structures, HR budget, and workforce analytics
    • High level of autonomy and leadership on complex topics
    • Excellent analytical and data management skills
    • Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities
