Join AXA Partners as a Senior Travel Underwriter !
We are looking for a Senior Travel Underwriter to strengthen our Central TEX Assistance Underwriting team. If you have expertise in travel underwriting, solid experience in the sector, and wish to contribute to defining guidelines, this opportunity is for you !
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and update travel underwriting guidelines, including product design, general conditions, pricing, and contracts.
- Support AXA Partners entities in underwriting and pricing international business, especially during major tenders.
- Analyze the performance of the travel portfolio by closely monitoring contracts and proposing corrective actions to optimize profitability.
- Participate in the management and optimization of deals, supporting underwriting, pricing, and risk monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Pricing, Data, Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance) to ensure consistent application of rules and strategies.
- Ensure compliance and updating of underwriting guidelines, while ensuring adherence to internal policies.
- Contribute to profitability monitoring and trend analysis to guide strategic decisions.
What you'll bring:
- Master's degree in insurance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the travel insurance sector, in underwriting, risk management, or actuarial work.
- Excellent command of Excel tools and ability to analyze legal documents.
- Fluent English, another language is a plus.
- Strong autonomy, team spirit, analytical and negotiation skills, commercial acumen.
