As a Cardiology Scientist, you will help fill the innovation pipeline by generating new ideas and leading the way in scientific assessment and agile execution of pre-projects through ideation, evaluation, and proof-of-concept phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Support for Innovation / New Ideas Generation & Selection:
Execute the research and innovation process by identifying innovative solutions and proposing new research initiatives in Cardiology and in metabolism to enrich Ceva's innovation pipeline. Collaborate on writing White Papers and ensure they are regularly updated. Build and maintain access to a network of external experts and stay informed about emerging trends, new compounds, and technologies in Cardiology and Metabolism for pets. Proactively seek solutions to address unmet needs and invite all team members to contribute the ideas.
Ideas and Proposals Assessment:
Participate to the opportunity teams to facilitate rapid and thorough evaluation of internal and external ideas. Establish advisory boards when needed and lead evaluation and due diligence activities. Contribute to Concept Notes for proposal assessments and assemble cross-functional pre-project teams, as necessary.
Pre-Projects Implementation:
Plan and manage exploratory studies to achieve proof of concept, optimizing study design to maximize resources while ensuring scientific rigor, quality, and timely execution. Maintain compliance with current scientific knowledge, quality standards, animal welfare, ethical considerations, and regulatory requirements.

Cardiology expert profile (PhD and/or strong expertise in cardiology practice) and very good knowledge in metabolism (diabetes, obesity)
Academic network, research network
Capabilities to animate and to coordinate an innovation group, scientific evaluations...
Knowledge of pharmaceutical / biotech Developments. Background in Pharmaceutical company ideally
Capabilities to do (POC and field) studies in cardiology, knowledge of animal models
Fluent in French and English
