The Community Manager, France will serve as the dedicated owner of community engagement for The Sims across the French market. This role will focus on building relationships with players, fostering healthy community spaces, surfacing player insights, and strengthening trust between The Sims and its French-speaking audience. The Community Manager, France will report to the Senior Manager, Global Community.
About the Team
The Global Integrated Communications team is a community-driven organization that shapes storytelling, engagement, news, and content creation across platforms for players, creators, and media worldwide. As part of EA's Publishing organization, we help bring our franchises to life through authentic conversations and meaningful community connections.
We're looking for a Community Manager to join The Sims team and lead community engagement efforts across France and Europe.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Community based in the USA, you will develop and execute local community strategies that strengthen player relationships, foster engagement, and ensure community perspectives are represented across the franchise. You'll build trusted relationships with players, moderators, creators, and community leaders across the market while partnering closely with Integrated Communications, Marketing, Creator Relations, and Development teams to bring player insights into planning and decision-making.
As a live-service franchise with one of the world's most passionate communities, The Sims relies on ongoing dialogue with players to build trust, strengthen feedback loops, and create experiences that resonate with our audience. This role will help grow and support local community spaces, facilitate meaningful conversations with players, and surface actionable insights that help shape the future of the franchise.

Responsibilities
- Own and grow The Sims presence within French community spaces, including Discord, forums, Reddit, Steam, and other relevant platforms.
- Build and maintain relationships with players, moderators, creators, and community leaders to strengthen engagement and advocacy.
- Translate global creative platforms into culturally resonant French activations, building community go-to-market plans in close collaboration with local cross-functional teams.
- Develop and execute local community programs, events, and engagement initiatives that encourage participation and foster a welcoming player experience.
- Monitor community sentiment, player feedback, and emerging trends, translating insights into actionable recommendations for internal teams.
- Champion the voice of French players by identifying opportunities, risks, and community needs throughout the product lifecycle.
- Measure and report on community health, engagement, sentiment, and participation, using data to inform future strategies.
- Support localized social media engagement and content amplification in alignment with global communications strategies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in community management, player engagement, social media, communications, or a related field.
- Experience building and managing online communities across platforms such as Discord, forums, Reddit, Steam, or social media.
- Strong understanding of French gaming culture, online communities, and player behaviours.
- Experience gathering, analysing, and communicating community insights to influence decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage players, creators, moderators, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience using social listening, analytics, or reporting tools to evaluate community performance and sentiment.
- Passion for gaming, community building, and player-first engagement.
