Main Purpose of the Role
You will contribute to the deployment and continuous improvement of the site's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Management System. You will support operational teams in complying with regulatory, normative, and Group requirements to ensure compliance, employee safety, and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities Quality
  • Monitor regulatory inspections and mandatory reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regulatory monitoring and track Group requirements.
  • Participate in identifying continuous improvement opportunities and monitoring associated action plans.
  • Draft and update procedures, work instructions, and operating standards.
  • Prepare and organize Management Reviews in collaboration with Site Management.
  • Update QHSE performance indicators and dashboards.
  • Complete regulatory declarations related to site operations and waste treatment activities.
  • Support the preparation and follow-up of internal and external audits.
  • Raise awareness among employees through toolbox talks, Safety Days, lessons learned (LL), safety briefings, and communication initiatives.
Safety
  • Conduct and update the Occupational Risk Assessment Document (DUERP) for all site activities.
  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and define associated action plans.
  • Review working conditions and recommend appropriate preventive measures.
  • Develop and update safety procedures and instructions.
  • Participate in the management of prevention plans and safety protocols with contractors and external companies.
  • Ensure the proper delivery of safety inductions for new employees, temporary workers, and contractors.
  • Support the facilitation of safety training sessions, meetings, and awareness campaigns.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and hazardous situations (human, equipment-related, chemical, or biological) and monitor corrective actions.
  • Support operational managers in embedding a strong safety culture within daily activities.
  • Participate in safety audits and action plan follow-up.
  • Verify regulatory compliance of equipment and working conditions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of site safety and operational reliability.
Environment
  • Monitor emissions and discharges (water, air, noise) and environmental performance indicators.
  • Participate in environmental regulatory inspections and compliance monitoring.
  • Organize or coordinate fire drills and associated verification activities.
  • Conduct on-site environmental compliance inspections.
  • Ensure proper management and traceability of waste, particularly hazardous waste.
  • Support initiatives to improve the site's environmental performance.
  • Contribute to monitoring permits, authorizations, and environmental regulatory obligations.
  • Raise employee awareness of environmental best practices.
Cross-Functional Projects
  • Support the deployment of Group QHSE policies and standards.
  • Assist operational teams in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in the preparation of certification audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Contribute to the digitalization of QHSE monitoring tools.
  • Perform data analysis and recommend optimization actions.
Candidate Profile Education
  • Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) to Master's degree (Bac+5) in Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE), Risk Management, HSE, or a related field.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
