PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As the System Services Manager, you will lead the department responsible for critical maintenance activities, troubleshooting, spare parts supply, and modifications for our installed system base. Your primary mission will be to drive the necessary transformations within this department to achieve exceptional levels of customer satisfaction, enhance team competency, and ensure financial profitability. You will also be instrumental in expanding our customer service capabilities to support new, advanced solutions promoted by the Yokogawa Group, ensuring our offerings remain at the forefront of industrial automation.

Your days will be dynamic and multifaceted. You will start by reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial results, ensuring the department is on track to meet its revenue and margin targets. You will engage with your team, providing guidance, fostering motivation, and addressing any operational challenges. A significant portion of your time will involve strategic planning, translating the Group's vision into actionable departmental goals, and defining the organizational structure to support these objectives. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such such as the System Sales Manager and Project Managers, and participate in European operations meetings to align on broader strategies. You will also dedicate time to talent development, identifying training needs, supporting upskilling initiatives, and conducting performance evaluations. Ensuring strict adherence to HSE and quality standards, including coordinating risk prevention plans and conducting field audits, will be a constant priority, reflecting Yokogawa's commitment to safety and excellence.

WHO YOU ARE
You are a seasoned leader with a Master's degree in Engineering and over 15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Automation, including a proven track record of successfully managing operations teams. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and proficient with tools such as SAP, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office 365. Your behavioral skills include being results-driven, assertive, a good listener, rigorous, and possessing an analytical mindset with excellent interpersonal abilities and cost awareness. You hold essential HSE authorizations, including a Category B driver's license, various electrical permits (H0, H0V, B2, B2V, B2V Test, BE Testing, BR, BC), Chemical site authorization N2, and ATEX Level 1, and are medically fit for electrical and chemical site work. You are passionate about driving change, fostering talent, and ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction and safety.

→ Relate and explain the Group's strategy, formulating and communicating a clear strategic vision for the department.
→ Take full responsibility for departmental revenue and margin, defining KPIs and identifying resource needs.
→ Define the annual budget and manage Group requests, actively participating in European operations meetings.
→ Motivate and develop your team, defining training plans, supporting upskilling, and managing performance.
→ Coordinate and sign risk prevention plans, ensuring compliance with all HSE and Quality rules.
→ Conduct field audits, ensure personnel qualifications, and participate in HSE reviews, leading safety moments.
→ Manage hiring, evaluations, objectives, and job descriptions for your team.
What You Bring:
→ A Master's degree in Engineering and 15+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Automation, with successful hierarchical management experience.
→ Fluent English language skills (read, written, spoken).
→ Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office 365.
→ Strong leadership qualities: results-driven, assertive, excellent listening skills, rigorous, analytical, and strong interpersonal skills with cost awareness.
