The position
The Corporate Technology Manager is responsible for managing a diverse team of IT professionals and ensures they have the necessary competences, skills and resources to support the Head in accomplishing the team's and Company's objectives.
The Corporate Technology Manager reports to the Head of Corporate Technology that he will serve as second-in-command and assist in carrying out the Company's vision and goals.
The Corporate Technology team is distributed across EBA CLEARING's Paris, Brussels and Frankfurt offices. The position is in either Paris, Brussels or Frankfurt.
Main responsibilities

Main responsibilities
Within its overall mission, the Corporate Technology Manager has the following responsibilities:
- Team Management: Manage the Corporate Technology team, which is responsible for corporate software development, IT infrastructure, communications network and office automation systems to ensure on build, delivery and process.
- Technology Implementation: Help identify and implement technologies, including AI-driven automation, machine learning models and data analytics, to enhance the organisation's efficiency, decision-making, and user experience
- Cross-Unit Collaboration: Work with other senior leaders and their teams to ensure that technology is integrated into the organization's operations.
- Development and Support: User Support, Change Requests, KPI Reporting: Provide regular KPIs on change status, cost, and support quality.
- Security and Integrity: Ensure the security and integrity of the organization's technology infrastructure, and more specifically: Security Strategies: Assist in developing and implementing information security strategies, leveraging AI-powered threat detection, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics to enhance cybersecurity and compliance measures:
- Incident Management: Manage security incidents and responses, including investigating and resolving security breaches
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
- Security Audits: Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
- Security Training: Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs for employees
All activities will be under supervision of the Head of Corporate Technology.
Involved as a back-up of the Head of Corporate Technology in:
Technology Direction: Contribute to defining technology architecture and strategies, including opportunities for AI-driven automation, predictive analytics, and process optimization, that align with the organization's goals and objectives:
- Applications development: Contribute to design, development and tests of the business applications.
- Solutions integration: Contribute to the integration of 3rd party software packages.
- Planning and Management: Resource Coordination, Project Delivery, Stakeholder Management and Policy Implementation.
- Best Practices: Adhere to and apply the latest technological practices and established standards for development and support.
- Budget Management: Assist in managing the organization's technology budget, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and that costs are controlled.
- Vendor Management: Assist in managing relationships with technology vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring that service levels are met.
- Technology Trends: Stay up to date with technological trends and developments and advise senior management on how these trends may impact on the organization.
The successful candidate will have:
- A master's degree in information technology (Computer Science or Information Systems Management)
- At least 10 years' experience in various IT roles including development and support, with progressive development to more senior and managerial roles
- Direct experience with the Microsoft ecosystem (.net framework, AZURE, SQL Server, CRM dynamics, Office365, Azure, Cloud environment, DevOps)
- Demonstrated experience in managing change, stakeholder expectations and priorities in a dynamic, multi-national environment
- A can-do attitude, commitment to delivering user satisfaction and a strong sense of accountability
- Experience in managing local and nearshore resources seamlessly
- Experience in application management and support
- Full command of the English language (spoken and written), second European language a plus
- Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Advanced communication and persuasive presentation skills
- Experience in IT contract and supplier management
