As the Outside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, primarily through acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships. You will play a key role in representing Rhenus Air & Ocean, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored logistics solutions that meet their business objectives.   • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in France.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients within the logistics and supply chain sectors. Conduct market research to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing excellent service and support. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our logistics services.
  • Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the customer.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market demands.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management, detailing progress against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of services and customer satisfaction.


What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales, preferably within global forwarding,
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Deep understanding of the logistics and transportation market in Germany, including key players, trends, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying client needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and drive.
