This position is a critical part of the Rochester Electronics EMEA Sales Organization and will be based within the EMEA region in France, with an established office in Toulouse.

Reporting to the Director, Sales - Southern Europe, the role will work closely with Internal Sales, Technical Sales, and other specialised departments and vertical teams across the organisation to support and drive the overall company business strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales business plans and strategies to maximise revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier to key customers across the South, Central, and North regions of France.

Our preferred location for this position is Lyon or the Rhône-Alpes region.

Essential Job Functions
  • Manages customer activities within the defined Region, works in conjunction with the Internal Sales Representative and Technical Manager to increase sales of Rochester Electronics products and services to customers in accordance with agreed strategies and business plans.
  • Identifies major opportunities, gain information, and develop strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within Region.
  • Manages the full sales cycle from lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, creating and delivering sales presentations, creating sales proposals, negotiating and closing the deal.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities and revenue for the region and ensuring CRM is utilized and maintained on a daily basis.
  • Provides effective communication and service to the customer base and effectively navigate internally to influence decisions and priorities on active business opportunities.


Requirements

  • BA or BS Degree in Electronics or similar required
  • Fluent in French & English
  • Proven Sales & Management experience
  • Experience managing a large territory and working from a virtual office
  • Strong technical sales experience and a proven track record of successfully selling high tech product solutions (Strong working knowledge of the Semiconductor industry preferred)
  • Proven background in developing relationships with key decision makers and influencers including experience in closing complex product deals.
  • Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers/prospects
  • Flexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks at once and manage them efficiently
  • Ability to work through a problem and maintain focus with little or no supervision
  • Positive attitude with an ability to absorb & learn quickly
  • Team Player
  • Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


Working Conditions

  • Must be able to effectively type using a keyboard and use computer peripherals, such as mouse, keyboard and monitor.
  • Must hold a driving license and be able to travel 50-60% of the time.
