The datacenter industry is expanding at an unprecedented pace, with hyperscalers, colocation providers, and mission-critical operators investing billions each year in next-generation infrastructure. If you understand the datacenter ecosystem and see account management not just as a role but as a mission, this position is for you.
We are seeking a Global Key Account Manager (Datacenter) to introduce, position, and grow our high-performance infrastructure and lighting solutions from Thorn & Zumtobel within mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Market Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across the European datacenter market.
  • Network & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain a strong network of decision-makers, integrators, and prime contractors.
  • Go-to-Market & Account Strategy: Develop tailored account and market strategies aligned with datacenter standards, technical requirements, and global specifications.
  • Business Development & Solution Promotion: Drive business development by promoting products, turnkey solutions, and technical services, while promoting Thorn & Zumtobel solutions to key decision-makers.
  • Technical & Commercial Execution: Prepare, negotiate, and close technical-commercial proposals, including tenders and complex projects.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor procurement cycles, competitor moves, and market trends to refine our approach, while managing a cross-border pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting via Salesforce.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (product, marketing, operations) to meet client expectations and deliver results.

  • You have industry expertise with proven experience in the datacenter, critical-infrastructure, or high-tech industrial sector.
  • Experience in lighting solutions is a strong asset. If coming from a different domain, you should then bring a solid technical understanding and the ability to quickly learn infrastructure and lighting solutions, ideally supported by a Business/Technical degree (Bac+2+) or engineering background.
  • You keep a strong track record in international business development and key account management.
  • Ability to navigate complex procurement cycles and long sales processes.
  • You pair strategic thinking with strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Highly autonomous, you take full ownership of your scope, drive initiatives proactively, and remain aligned with collective goals while contributing as a reliable team partner.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, CRM (Salesforce), and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Fluent English and near-native French; German is a plus.
  • You can travel extensively within your assigned area of Paris/France.
