The Copenhagen Metro network in Denmark, whose first line opened in 2002, now consists of four fully automated lines spanning 43 km and serving 44 stations. Should our bid be successful, RATP Dev will establish a dedicated team to manage the transition of current operations and maintenance activities and deliver a 12-year operating contract. This is a full-time position based in Copenhagen, with an expected start date in S2 2026.
JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Digital Director plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's digital infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity. This leadership position is responsible for the strategic oversight, implementation, and management of the organization's digital assets. The Digital Director leads a team of IT professionals, ensures compliance with industry standards and system reliability, fosters a culture of operational excellence and innovation, and aligns digital transformation initiatives with overall business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies aligned with the organization's overall objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership and key stakeholders on emerging technologies, innovation opportunities, and digital transformation.
- Define and enforce policies, standards, and protocols for technology use, data governance, service delivery and digital innovation.
Digital & Performance Management:
- Manage and maintain digital infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software applications.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of digital systems and services.
- Assess and integrate emerging technologies and digital initiatives to improve organizational efficiency, drive continuous improvement and deliver value-adding solutions.
- Ensure digital systems and processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and handle all required measures with their CISO team to put the cyber risks under control..
- Establish and maintain policies and procedures to safeguard data integrity, security, and confidentiality.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the delivery of technical support across the organization, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure digital initiatives are aligned with business needs.
- Partner with other departments to understand their needs, managing interfaces and delivering tailored solutions.
- Set clear objectives and expectations, providing regular feedback and support to drive high team performance.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of digital projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and optimal resource allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of digital and technology professionals, overseeing hiring, training, development and performance evaluations.
- Cultivate a collaborative and innovative team culture that supports professional growth and continuous learning.
EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Demonstrated expertise in IT management, architectural development and digital transformation or a similar leadership role, preferably within transportation, utilities or other mission-critical sectors.
- Deep knowledge of digital infrastructure, systems architecture, advanced cybersecurity, and data governance best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and decision-making capabilities in fast-paced, complex environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to thrive and manage change in multicultural, high-performance, and innovation-driven environments.
