Role:

The Facility Manager of the Ekinops Lannion site is responsible for the overall management of a 3,400 sqm building located on a 2-hectare site, including office spaces, laboratories, and a specialized 48V energy workshop.

The primary mission is to ensure full regulatory compliance, oversee maintenance and building operations, and lead infrastructure and workspace projects while managing the associated budget.

This role requires a high level of autonomy and solid experience in a similar position, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.

Key responsibilities:

Building & Maintenance Management
  • Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards
  • Oversee technical systems (HVAC, electrical systems, fire safety, etc.)
  • Monitor building performance and ensure operational continuity


Vendors & Contract Management
  • Manage relationships with external service providers (maintenance, cleaning, security, etc.)
  • Handle procurement activities: quotations, intervention planning, follow-up, and invoice validation
  • Ensure service quality, cost control, and adherence to agreed service levels


Project Management
  • Lead site improvement, renovation, and layout projects
  • Define project scope, budget, and timelines, and coordinate internal and external stakeholders
  • Optimize workspace usage and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives


Workplace & Employee Experience
  • Act as the main point of contact for employees regarding facility-related topics
  • Support office space planning, moves, and workplace services
  • Promote a service-oriented and user-centric approach


Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure the safety of people, assets, and installations
  • Organize and follow up on regulatory inspections and emergency preparedness (fire drills, evacuation plans)
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation actions
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and support CSR and energy efficiency initiatives


Budget & Performance Management
  • Manage and monitor the facility budget
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities
  • Track key performance indicators (maintenance, energy consumption, vendor performance)


Profile:

Technical skills
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and technical systems
  • Proven experience in maintenance management and facility-related projects, ideally in an industrial environment
  • Good understanding of HSE standards and regulatory requirements
  • Awareness of energy management and sustainability topics


Soft skills
  • Autonomous, proactive, and highly organized
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail


Education & experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in facility management or technical building operations


Languages
  • Fluent in French
  • Professional level in English
