Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Python Developer to join our Data and Research Team. The main goal of this role is to build and enhance the research and data platforms used company-wide, particularly by the Quantitative and Trading Teams, to design, test, and deploy quantitative strategies with distributed computation, large-scale backtesting, and rapid time-to-market capabilities.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Python Developer to join our Data and Research Team. The main goal of this role is to build and enhance the research and data platforms used company-wide, particularly by the Quantitative and Trading Teams, to design, test, and deploy quantitative strategies with distributed computation, large-scale backtesting, and rapid time-to-market capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, reusable, and efficient code (e.g., libraries for the Data Engineering and Quantitative Trading teams)
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance (e.g., adherence to style guidelines, code reviews, testing)
- Contribute to technical documentation and shared resources
- Investigate and resolve issues by analyzing root causes and implementing effective solutions
About you
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python software development
- Strong understanding of testing practices within continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database systems
