Mars CEIPA is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth and strategy across six vibrant markets in the Indian Ocean: Reunion Island, Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles, Comoros, and Mayotte. In this exciting role, you will be empowered to create and execute comprehensive business plans, manage key distributor relationships, and drive sales and marketing activities to achieve ambitious financial goals. As a key member of our team, you will act as a guardian of the Mars 5 Principles and play a pivotal role in building a solid and profitable foundation for our brands in both established and emerging markets.

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Create Business Plan & Activities for the Markets (Reunion Island, Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles, Comoros, Mayotte) , for all category of products. (Route to Market).
  • Manage appointed Distributors for the key Markets and drive the Distribution contracts with no conflict of interest.
  • Support Markets (Distributors) for sales & Marketing activities, sales
  • Organisation and sales systems - negotiation with local Trade and
  • Advertising Agencies. A&P budget Owners (each budget approved in DMR)
  • Achieve sales Plan each period and YEE (forecasts) and take receivables and Budgets under control. Post completion report and ROI on all key activities
  • Provide sales training to Distributor's sales force.
  • Provide technical support (sales presenters etc...) to the Distributor's sales forces. Share by teams all marketing argues
  • Monitor competition activities and Strategy (price, range etc...)
  • Ensure interface with Logistic, Marketing, Customer Service
  • And S&F.
  • Teams review with all actors and periodic sales reports for all key markets.
  • Participate to IDBU forum (same for all CEIPA DMR) = EJ back-up
  • Responsible to ensure the strategy and objectives to the top markets by deciding and proposing the approved strategy in DMR for each market (segment priorities, mix, TOP 10 /20 items, propose realistic scenarios.
  • Key actor and facilitator to harmonize Ways of Working CEIPA. CEIPA tariffs, CEIPA CGV...all admin. Even if of course specificities may exist on market (trade, budget allocation...)
