What is expected from you:
The role supports EUSPA in overseeing the security aspects of EGNOS service provision, ensuring compliance with SECOPS requirements and alignment with Safety of Life (SoL) constraints, security accreditation standards, and programme evolution (including EGNOS V3). The position requires close coordination with ESSP (ESP), EUSPA teams, ESA, and participation in classified environments.Security Activity Monitoring and Compliance

What is expected from you:
The role supports EUSPA in overseeing the security aspects of EGNOS service provision, ensuring compliance with SECOPS requirements and alignment with Safety of Life (SoL) constraints, security accreditation standards, and programme evolution (including EGNOS V3). The position requires close coordination with ESSP (ESP), EUSPA teams, ESA, and participation in classified environments.Security Activity Monitoring and Compliance
- Review and assess security aspects of Service Performance Monthly Reports (SPMR) and associated data packages.
- Participate in Service Performance and security meetings, reviewing minutes and ensuring accuracy.
- Monitor and evaluate security KPIs, including incidents, audits (cyber, site), and performance indicators.
- Raise and track RIDs on security performance, audit reports, and corrective action plans, ensuring timely implementation of mitigation measures.
Security Incident Management
- Support monitoring and assessment of security events and incident handling by ESP.
- Review incident notifications, reports, and remediation plans, ensuring compliance with KPIs and SECOPS.
- Verify that timely and appropriate mitigation actions are implemented.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of incident management processes, including:
- Review of procedures and chain of command
- Participation in audits and proposal of enhancements
- Provide regular reporting and technical assessments of incident trends and process effectiveness.
Deviation and Change Management
- Support evaluation of Requests for Deviation/Waiver (RFDs/RFWs) impacting EGNOS security.
- Review and assess Document Change Proposals (DCPs) and Technical Notes (TNs).
- Participate in engineering and change control boards, providing security expertise.
- Produce security impact assessments for proposed changes and evolutions.
Service Facilities Evolution Oversight
- Assess security implications of service facility evolutions (e.g. EDAS, NOTAM, MSI, user interfaces).
- Review Security Impact Assessments (SIAs) and equivalent documentation prior to submission for accreditation.
- Provide technical evaluations of security impacts and compliance for system evolutions.
SECOPS Compliance and Audit Support
- Evaluate ESP's compliance with SECOPS requirements and proposed mitigation measures.
- Perform and support technical and organisational audits, identifying discrepancies and risks.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective action plans and provide structured reporting on compliance status.
EGNOS V3 Security Integration
- Participate in the EUSPA/ESA EGNOS V3 Integrated Team, supporting:
- Security reviews of system and subsystem data packages
- Monitoring of SECOPS compliance during deployment
- Raise RIDs and provide security assessments of V3 products and subsystems
EGNOS V2 to V3 Transition Support
- Review transition-related documentation provided by ESP, including:
- Operational procedures, SECOPS, and LEO updates
- Security risk assessments and technical notes
- Tooling and operational readiness documentation
- Assess the maturity and readiness of operational procedures and security framework during transition.
- Provide technical evaluations supporting secure transition to Entry Into Service (EIS).
