Role Overview

We are hiring a results-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth in the French market, with a strong focus on selling SMS, RCS, WhatsApp Business API, Voice, and CX Platform solutions to Enterprises

This role will be responsible for new business acquisition, strategic deal execution, and multi-channel adoption, helping enterprises transition from traditional messaging to AI-powered, omnichannel customer engagement platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Acquisition & Revenue Ownership
  • Own end-to-end new logo acquisition across key industries (fintech, retail, e-commerce, travel, logistics, BFSI).
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline across SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, Voice, and CX Platform solutions.
  • Lead full sales cycle-from prospecting and discovery to solution positioning, pricing, negotiation, and closure.
  • Deliver against revenue, margin, and channel-mix targets for France.
2. Multi-Channel Solution Selling (SMS → Omnichannel CX)
  • Position SMS as the entry point, while driving upsell into RCS, WhatsApp, Voice, and CX platform capabilities.
  • Sell integrated customer engagement use cases: OTP, alerts, marketing campaigns, conversational messaging, customer support, and automation.
  • Articulate value of CX platforms including journey orchestration, automation, analytics, and AI-driven engagement.
  • Drive multi-channel attach rates and increase wallet share per customer.
3. GTM Execution & Market Development
  • Execute localized GTM strategies aligned to France, including vertical-specific plays and use-case-led selling.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and build targeted account penetration strategies.
  • Partner with Marketing on ABM campaigns, events, and demand generation initiatives.
  • Track pipeline, conversion, and win/loss trends to continuously optimize GTM execution.
4. Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem
  • Develop relationships with aggregators, ISVs, SIs, and OTT ecosystem players to drive indirect growth.
  • Identify opportunities for traffic growth, routing optimization, and margin expansion in SMS and Voice.
  • Collaborate with platform partners (e.g., Meta/WhatsApp, Google/RCS ecosystem) to strengthen market positioning.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales Ops, Product, Carrier Relations, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure seamless deal execution.
  • Provide structured market feedback to influence product roadmap, pricing models, and GTM priorities.
Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years in Business Development / Sales within CPaaS, telecom, SaaS, or CX platforms.
  • Proven experience selling SMS, WhatsApp Business API, RCS, Voice, or customer engagement platforms.
  • Strong understanding of A2P SMS ecosystem, French telecom landscape, and enterprise messaging use cases.
  • Track record of new business acquisition and quota achievement.
  • Fluency in French and English (mandatory).
  • Strong consultative selling and solution-based approach.
