JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Be responsible to design and optimize the economic balancing of all game loop & progression systems(sources, sinks, quests and events tasks objectives & rewards, and monetization), and to implement it with configuration parameters.
  • Provide data-driven simulations and analysis of game loop balancing scenarios, to calculate the ideal balancing parameters for the game, and to be able to react quickly to players data during live.
  • Revamp existing tools to configure and balance the game as necessary to improve them (egdesigners excels for tracking & calculation of parameters to input)
  • Be responsible fora variety of system topics design, implementation (configuration), or balancing for game loop systems (progression, economy, RPG & itemisation, time limited events, daily quests...)
  • Collaborate with other dev team cells (content, level design, art & animation, gameplay programming) to ensureoptimalcommunication of design info and achieve the results expected
  • Be responsible to create andmaintaindocumentation for all the game loop and progression systems balancing, as well asdesignerstools (excel tables and simulators, etc)
  • Constantlyparticipatein finding solutions to fix buggy features andoptimizesystems, pushing for reworks when they are necessary to reach the expected quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Game Design Expertise: Passionate about RPG and looter-shooter games, with in-depth knowledge of F2P andGaaSgenres, mobile playerbehavior, and business model trends.
  • Proven Experience: Shipped at least one game asaeconomic or system designer, withsignificant experiencebalancing economic systems (MMORPG/action-RPG/F2PGaaSexperience is a plus).
  • Technical Skills: Strong numeric design abilities, data manipulationexpertise, analytical mind, andable totranslate analytical findings in actionable design solutions within the game. Comfortable with complex Excel sheets.
  • Creative & Collaborative: Flexible, open to feedback, detail-oriented, anda strong teamplayer.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Bonus Knowledge: Familiarity with The Division IP and a passion for creating immersive, believable game worlds.
