We provide a significant contribution to the most major Space programs of the European Space Agency, EUSPA and other Telespazio Groups. Our core business is to work on the ground to build bridges into space, contributing to the success of ambitious missions.

We will soon be looking for a highly enthusiastic Support to exploitation for Service Transition (EGN) Engineer who will work in Toulouse, France.

What is expected from you:

The role supports EUSPA in the preparation and execution of the transition from EGNOS V2 to EGNOS V3 service provision (SoL, EDAS, and Maritime), ensuring continuity of service, compliance with regulatory constraints, and alignment across system development, service provision, and operational stakeholders.

Service Transition Planning and Framework Support
  • Support the definition and implementation of the EGNOS V3 service transition process within the EUSPA Service Management Framework.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical inputs, transition strategies, and programmatic plans for SoL, EDAS, and Maritime services.
  • Assist in the service-level consolidation and design activities, ensuring a smooth transition with no service interruption.

Coordination with System Development and Stakeholders
  • Support coordination between EUSPA, ESA, Industry (Airbus), and the EGNOS Service Provider (ESSP/ESP).
  • Contribute to the analysis of system development outputs, ensuring they meet operational and maintenance needs for service provision.
  • Facilitate alignment between system-level developments (EGNOS V3 Product and Service Facilities) and service transition requirements.

ESP Activities Monitoring and Integration
  • Monitor and support the activities performed by the ESP (ESSP) in preparation for the V2 to V3 transition.
  • Ensure that inputs from ESP are properly processed and integrated into the overall service transition strategy.
  • Support the definition, follow-up, and validation of ESP transition activities up to Entry into Service.

Operational and Service Readiness Support
  • Contribute to the definition of operational frameworks, including elements of the Library of EGNOS Operations (LEO).
  • Support preparation of the migration scenario from V2 to V3 services, ensuring operational feasibility and continuity.
  • Ensure that service readiness constraints are properly addressed, particularly for Safety of Life (SoL) services under aviation regulations.

Programme Integration and Compliance
  • Ensure alignment with programme governance, including coordination within ESA-managed development activities.
  • Support compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, including:
  • Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) constraints (EASA/SES framework)
  • Security accreditation requirements (SAB)
  • Contribute to ensuring that service transition activities are consistent with contractual and programme obligations.

Coordination, Tools, and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work with EUSPA document management and engineering tools (e.g. DMS, DOORS) to support traceability and documentation.
  • Participate in technical and coordination meetings across EUSPA, ESA, ESP, and industrial stakeholders.
  • Support effective communication and coordination across teams, including service provision, security, certification, and programme management.
