PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Lawyer Business Law is responsible for providing expert legal support and advice to Club Med on matters relating to business operations, contracts, and regulatory compliance. This role involves managing legal risks, crafting agreements, and aiding in strategic business decision-making processes. The Lawyer plays an essential role in ensuring the company's activities are aligned with legal standards, supporting growth while mitigating potential liabilities.

GENERAL MISSIONS

1. C ontract Drafting and Negotiation

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various business contracts and agreements to protect the company's interests


  • Ensure all contracts comply with applicable legal standards and corporate policies


  • Establish negotiation strategies that achieve favorable outcomes for the organization.


2. Legal Advisory and Risk Management

  • Provide actionable legal advice on business law issues impacting operations and strategies.


  • Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.


  • Conduct due diligence for business transactions and collaborations.


3. Compliance and Regulatory Guidance

  • Monitor changes in business law and regulations to keep the company compliant.


  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and practices.


  • Support auditing processes related to legal compliance and governance.


4. Dispute Resolution and Litigation

  • Manage dispute resolution processes and engage with external legal counsel as needed.


  • Represent Club Med in legal proceedings regarding business-related matters.


  • Advise on litigation strategies to minimize legal exposure and costs.


5. Cross- Departmental Collaboration

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure legal aspects are integrated into business processes.


  • Provide training to employees on key business law principles and regulations.


  • Act as a liaison between Club Med and external legal entities or regulators.


6. Management & Leadership

  • Create a structuring and inspiring framework: Provide a clear and engaging environment, give meaning to actions and embody the Club Med Spirit.


  • Develop and empower teams: Help them develop their skills, encourage autonomy and initiative.


  • Ensure operational excellence: Manage performance with rigor and benevolence , optimizing time and resources.


KPI ( position requirements objective)

  • Contract Accuracy: Rate of contracts executed without amendments or errors.


  • Risk Mitigation Success: Reduction in potential legal liabilities through proactive strategies.


  • Compliance Rate: Percentage of business activities meeting regulatory standards.


  • Litigation Outcomes: Success rate of dispute resolutions and legal cases.


  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Feedback from internal teams regarding legal support effectiveness.
