Are you ready to play a key role in the strategy and communication of an international company? AXA Partners is looking for a Chief of Staff to the CEO and Head of Communication to join our team in Malakoff. You'll be the CEO's right hand, ensuring the effective execution of strategic priorities and governance processes, while leading the company's internal and external communication.

What you'll be doing:

As the Chief of Staff and Head of Communication, you'll be a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO. You'll play a central role in implementing strategic priorities, governance, executive decision-making, and communication strategy. You'll be responsible for corporate communication, branding, and employee engagement, ensuring consistent and impactful communication across the organization.

Your main missions will include:

  • CEO Strategic Support & Governance
    • Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the CEO on strategic, organizational, and operational matters.
    • Shape and manage the CEO's annual agenda, balancing business performance, strategic priorities, governance requirements, employee engagement, and stakeholder management.
    • Ensure executive briefings, talking points, strategic notes, and decision materials for key internal and external engagements are at the right level.
    • Coordinate executive priorities and ensure effective follow-through across the organization.
  • Executive Committee Animation
    • Design and own the annual Executive Committee agenda, in sync with strategic priorities.
    • Facilitate executive alignment and follow-up on critical decisions and commitments.
    • Facilitate the Chief of Staff community.
  • Corporate & Brand Communications
    • Define and oversee the corporate communication strategy.
    • Protect and strengthen the company's reputation and brand identity.
    • Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels.
    • Support executive visibility and thought leadership.
  • Employee Engagement Communications
    • Define and execute communication strategies to foster a strong internal culture and drive employee engagement.
    • Strengthen employee understanding of company priorities, culture, and transformation agenda.
    • Support leadership communications and organizational change initiatives.
    • Drive communication programs that foster engagement and alignment.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and develop the PMO and Communications teams.
    • Foster collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the CEO Office.
    • Build strong relationships across all business units and functions.


What you'll bring:

To succeed in this role, you'll need a unique combination of strategic, communication, and leadership skills.

Your skills and experiences will include:

  • Strategic and Leadership Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, executive office, communications, or business leadership roles.
  • Executive Support: Significant experience supporting senior executives and executive governance bodies.
  • Team Leadership: Proven experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • International Environment: Ability to operate effectively in a complex international setting.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
