The Operator will contribute to the safe and accurate handling of gas cylinders, supporting the company's production process through assembly, maintenance, labelling, and quality checks. This role is designed for someone who can maintain high standards of workmanship and follow established safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and inspect gas cylinders.
- Reassemble cylinder caps after fitting.
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks using tools such as screwdrivers and power tools.
- Apply labels to gas cylinders.
- Install sleeves, including heat-shrink sleeves, on cylinders.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure proper assembly and labelling.
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Strong punctuality and adherence to safety procedures.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Experience using production tools and equipment.
- CACES Category 3 (R489) certification is desirable
