Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.Functional ArchitectThe Functional Architect leads consultative engagements with complex enterprise customers, partnering with key stakeholders to create compelling visions while advising and executing on AI‑enhanced strategies. They serve as hands‑on advisors, leveraging strong interpersonal skills, functional and/or technical knowledge, Salesforce product knowledge (including AI capabilities), industry experience, consulting experience, and deep understanding of their client’s business to deliver measurable customer ROI.Functional Architects are strong presenters and facilitators who obtain customer acceptance by understanding and delivering the right strategic vision while driving the difficult conversations necessary to execute business strategies. They are proficient at analyzing issues and obstacles to determine root cause(s), weighing options, choosing appropriate courses of action, and measuring and revising strategy based on results.In today's AI‑first landscape, Functional Architects must demonstrate proficiency with modern AI development tools, understand Salesforce’s AI ecosystem, and leverage these technologies to accelerate delivery and enhance solution quality.Core ResponsibilitiesParticipating in business process redesign with an AI‑first mindset, identifying opportunities for intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and agentic workflowsDesigning Agentforce implementations to automate customer service, sales processes, and business workflowsWorking closely with customers to understand current business processes and identify AI augmentation opportunitiesFacilitating discussions with various levels of customer’s IT and business stakeholders on AI adoption strategies and change managementDeveloping strong client relationships by building trust, rapport, and positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersArticulating the business value of AI/ML capabilities in Salesforce solutions to executive audiencesWhat You Will DoAccelerated Development & DeliveryLeveraging AI‑assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) to accelerate configuration, code generation, and documentationLeading project's functional workstream from scoping to rollout with emphasis on rapid prototyping using AI toolsSpeed is paramount - utilizing AI coding assistants to reduce time‑to‑value and increase iteration velocitySolution Design & ArchitecturePreparing and facilitating workshops (in‑person and virtual)Designing business processes that incorporate Agentforce agents, Einstein predictions, and intelligent workflowsDesigning solutions with technical architects, evaluating when to leverage AI capabilities vs.
