Senior SharePoint & Power Platform Lead

Ekkiden
Lyon, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes 69061 CEDEX 06, France CDI

Ekkiden is an international consulting group founded in 2019, bringing together an ecosystem of passionate and committed consultants who lead organizational, operational, and technological transformation projects across IT/Digital, Industry/R&D, and Sustainability for large enterprises and SMEs in France, Switzerland, Spain, and Germany.

The Role:

We are looking for a Senior SharePoint & Power Platform Lead Consultant to drive the design, development, and evolution of enterprise collaboration and digital workplace solutions across Microsoft 365 environments. This is a developer-focused role (not an administrator profile): the emphasis is on building custom solutions, automations, and integrations rather than day-to-day platform administration.

The position is responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 ecosystems-on-premises and cloud-ensuring availability, security, scalability, and alignment with business objectives. You will act as a technical lead on complex initiatives within large-scale enterprise environments, combining hands-on development with solution architecture and mentoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom SharePoint and Power Platform solutions using SPFx, CSOM, the PnP Framework, C#, .NET, JavaScript, REST APIs, and Microsoft Graph.
  • Build and automate business processes and operational workflows with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Design SharePoint architecture across on-premises and Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive), translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Lead platform modernization initiatives, including upgrades and migrations to newer SharePoint versions and cloud services.
  • Architect and optimize enterprise search; diagnose and resolve issues involving indexing, crawling, metadata, relevance tuning, and content processing.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis on complex production incidents (SharePoint services, User Profiles, Search, Distributed Cache, Timer Jobs, Office Online Server integrations).
  • Develop PowerShell automation scripts and administrative/operational tooling to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Apply DevOps practices (Azure DevOps) for deployment, monitoring, and platform reliability.
  • Define and enforce governance, security, compliance, and operational best practices.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, architecture, and business teams; act as a trusted technical advisor and mentor junior consultants.

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in SharePoint and Microsoft technologies.
  • Proven expertise in SharePoint Server 2013/2016/2019 and SharePoint Subscription Edition (SPSE), plus SharePoint Online.
  • Strong hands-on development skills: SPFx, CSOM, PnP Framework, C#, .NET, JavaScript, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph.
  • Solid experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Deep knowledge of SharePoint architecture, governance, enterprise search, and migration/modernization programs.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell; experience with Azure DevOps and modern development practices.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise and production environments.
  • Strong technical leadership, solution architecture, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Languages: English (100% required). French is a plus.
  • (Preferred) Experience supporting international organizations and highly regulated, security-conscious environments.
