Your role:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager.
You will report to the Group Sales Director - Remote sites, and contribute to the commercial development of Newrest's Remote Site & Base Camp activities across key sectors including Oil & Gas, Mining and Energy.
Based in Toulouse or South America, within the Remote Sites Development team, the role combines strategic business development, tender management, and client relationship leadership in complex international environments.

Key responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new clients across target industries (Oil & Gas onshore & offshore, Mining, Energy, Engineering & Construction).
  • Strengthen Newrest's positioning with major international contractors and operators, ensuring strong market visibility and reference.
  • Build and maintain a robust commercial pipeline.
  • Establish and strengthen long-term partnerships with key clients and stakeholders.
Tendering and contract acquisition
  • Lead the preparation of bids and responses to tenders, covering technical, financial, legal, and human aspects.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders (operations, finance, legal, HSE) to ensure comprehensive and competitive proposals.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, conclude new contracts, and ensure customer retention.
  • Guarantee alignment between the proposed offer during tendering and the final contractual commitments.
Project Development & Mobilization
  • Support operational teams during contract start-up and mobilization phases.
  • Ensure consistency between the solution sold and the service delivered at client sites.
  • Monitor start-up performance and ensure client satisfaction from the early stages.
Account Management & Performance Monitoring
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor contract performance, including operational KPIs and financial ratios, in collaboration with on-site teams.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and service delivery standards.
  • Enforce signed agreements and follow up on action plans.
Market Intelligence & Growth Strategy
  • Identify, analyze, and pursue new market opportunities and external growth options.
  • Contribute to the company's strategic positioning in priority geographies and segments.
Reporting & Governance
  • Produce and formalize regular commercial and operational reporting.
  • Ensure smooth coordination and information flow between headquarters and operational teams.
  • Monitor action plans and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
