Maizières Campus Shared Service Unit is in charge of the general management of the Maizières campus related to transversal functions.
Shared technical services provide operational services and resources to maintain, develop, and support site infrastructures, tools, and engineering capabilities. They also conduct testing and pilot-scale production across liquid metal, rolling, and ore characterization facilities for R&D and group needs.

Your role

As Head of Shared Technical Services, you will lead and coordinate the department's human and technical resources over the medium and long term, ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives and budget targets.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be a member of the Site Executive Committee and your main responsibilities will include:
  • Translating company and site strategy into actionable plans, ensuring full alignment with business objectives
  • Driving continuous improvement and long-term development initiatives to enhance the performance of research centers
  • Adapting the department's organization, roles, and responsibilities to meet evolving needs and priorities
  • Managing the department budget (OPEX and CAPEX) and preparing short-, medium-, and long-term investment plans
  • Ensuring the effective allocation and optimization of human and technical resources to deliver projects and services
  • Overseeing project execution and service delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction
  • Promoting and maintaining strong health, safety, and environmental standards within the department
  • Leading, motivating, and developing teams to achieve performance objectives
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors

Your profile
  • You hold a Master's degree in a technical field.
  • Experience in an industrial or research environment is required; prior experience in a similar role would be a strong advantage.
  • You have strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • You have proven experience in change management methodologies and tools.
  • You have a solid understanding of industrial and/or R&D environments (technical, operational, financial, and organizational aspects).
  • Fluent professional English (written and spoken) is required.
  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
