Overview

This role supports the delivery of Gallagher Re's MGA enablement proposition in France and broader in EMEA, with flexibility to be based in Paris, Brussels, or Luxembourg.

You will play a key role in developing and delivering solutions that translate market opportunity into a scalable and repeatable MGA proposition, tailored to local market, regulatory, and capacity needs. Working closely with colleagues across reinsurance, analytics, and programmes teams, you will help bring together the capabilities needed to support MGA clients at different stages of their growth journey.

How you'll make an impact

• Define and lead the MGA enablement strategy for France, aligned with global programmes initiatives.
• Build the value proposition, operating model, and delivery approach for MGA clients.
• Identify and support new and existing MGA ventures, including structure, planning, and go to market setup.
• Design and place (re)insurance programmes, including quota share, excess of loss, and blended structures, to support MGA growth and capital efficiency.
• Build and maintain capacity relationships with insurers and reinsurers locally and internationally.
• Advise and support clients on regulatory and delegated authority considerations within French and European frameworks.
• Develop a sustainable pipeline of MGA opportunities and convert these into revenue generating engagements.
• Work closely with global broking, analytics, and MGA teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Represent Gallagher Re in client meetings and support market engagement activities.

About you

• Experience working within insurance or reinsurance with a clear focus on MGAs and delegated authority business models.
• Practical experience structuring and placing (re)insurance solutions to support delegated businesses.
• Knowledge of the French insurance and reinsurance markets, including regulatory and governance standards.
• Experience contributing to the development or scaling of propositions, platforms, or business lines.
• Established relationships across insurers, reinsurers, and MGA ecosystem
• The ability to translate strategy into execution in evolving market conditions.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and contributing to commercial discussions.
• A collaborative way of working across countries, teams, and disciplines.
• Fluency in French and English.
