The Givaudan Fine Fragrance Business creates signature fragrances for personal perfumes. Working in close collaboration with its clients, our perfumers translate into scent the aspirations and glamour of prestige, designer and celebrity brands into fragrance.

As a Fine Fragrance Marketing Manager (m/f/d), and part of our Regional Fine Fragrance Marketing Team (EAME), located in Paris (XVI), you play a key role in shaping and building the image of fragrances worldwide, and in contributing to successful fragrances development.

Reporting to our Associate Marketing Director you will:

  • Contribute to the development of consumer and marketing understanding of the Fine Fragrance category (consumer, markets, brands, product portfolio / olfactive interpretation of all this), in coordination with both external and internal sources (Consumer Insights, Evaluation, other regions)
  • Translate market signals and cultural trends across countries/fields into inspiring olfactive marketing insights
  • Leverage these insights to guide creative teams and clients toward meaningful fragrance stories that reflect a global visionand hence be perceived as most expert olfactive marketing partner in the industry
  • Develop category presentations and trend forecasts that connect olfactive, aesthetic, trends and brand universes in a holistic and fluid way
  • Guidedevelopment of specific presentations for client and brand servicing and fragrance submission sales support.
  • Share and activate trendy insights for our creative teams, under different formats while demonstrating a fine sense for detecting new signals and opportunities in the world of beauty and style


Your professional profile includes:

  • A degree in marketing (business school or university)
  • Excellent sense of aesthetics
  • Strategic thinking, consumer and customer focused
  • Minimum 4/5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Previous experience in the marketing department of a client or similar job profile in the industry/advertising agency as strategic planner/marketing consulting, or in a fragrance house is beneficial
  • Olfactive knowledge/expertise
  • Fluency in English and French (verbal and written) is required + Italian or Spanish is a plus
  • Strong communication & networking skills, excellent presentation skills
  • Great team work spirit and leadership
  • Creativity and curiosity, always seeking excellence through insight and innovation
