- Own Regional Search Strategy: Build and execute the regional SEO/GSO roadmap for France, Spain, and Italy with a focus on pipeline contribution and revenue impact. Drive keyword and intent research across the enterprise buying journey, identify content gaps, and increase visibility among key decision-makers in strategic industries.
- Technical SEO: Ensure technical excellence across regional domains by managing site health, conducting audits, and optimizing page architecture, internal linking, and content structures in close collaboration with the web development team.
- Generative Search Optimization (GSO): Lead Retarus' visibility across AI-driven search platforms such as Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, Perplexity, and ChatGPT Search. Optimize content, metadata, and authority signals, and develop AI-citable assets to maximize inclusion in generative search results.
- Content, Campaign, and ABM Alignment: Partner with Content Marketing, Product Marketing, ABM, and regional marketing teams to develop search-optimized content and campaigns, align keyword strategies with target accounts and verticals, and support digital PR and authority-building initiatives.
- Experimentation & Competitive Intelligence: Drive continuous optimization through structured testing, competitive analysis, monitoring of algorithm changes, and identification of opportunities to improve search visibility and conversion performance.
- Measurement & Reporting: Define and track SEO/GSO KPIs, build executive-level dashboards, report performance to key stakeholders, and support marketing attribution by measuring organic search impact across the customer journey.
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or enterprise software environments, with a proven track record supporting complex, multi-stakeholder buying journeys
- Deep expertise in technical SEO, including site architecture, crawl optimization, Core Web Vitals, structured data, hreflang, and international SEO, as well as a solid understanding of Generative Search Optimization (GSO) and AI-driven search
- Proficiency with industry-standard SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush and/or Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog or comparable crawlers
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate search data into actionable business insights and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams, including content creators, developers, campaign managers, and product marketing teams
- Native-level French for Paris and German for Munich and professional-level English language skills; strong knowledge of the French/ German enterprise technology landscape and buying processes is a plus
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM), enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot), and CRM systems in a B2B environment is considered an advantage
- Experience presenting organic search performance and business impact to senior stakeholders and executive audiences is highly desirable
- Current certifications (issued or renewed within the last 24 months) in at least three relevant areas, such as Google Analytics (GA4), SEMrush SEO, HubSpot SEO,
- Google Search Console, Looker Studio, or Google Tag Manager
