Senior Controller

As a leading healthcare-focused private equity investment firm, ARCHIMED partners with ambitious management teams to accelerate growth, operational excellence, and long-term performance across the healthcare sector.

We are currently supporting one of our portfolio companies in the recruitment of a Senior Controller to strengthen its finance organization and support the next phase of growth.

Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the executive leadership team, the Senior Controller will play a critical role in driving financial performance, improving visibility on business KPIs, and supporting strategic decision-making.

This is a high-impact position offering broad exposure to operational and strategic topics within a fast-growing, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning
  • Monitor financial performance and analyze variances versus budget and prior periods
  • Develop and enhance management reporting and dashboards
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management

Business Performance Management
  • Track operational and financial KPIs across business units
  • Partner with operational teams to improve profitability and cost efficiency
  • Support pricing, margin analysis, and investment decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and value creation

Reporting & Governance
  • Prepare monthly management reports for the executive team, Board, and shareholders
  • Ensure reliability and consistency of financial data and reporting processes
  • Support cash flow monitoring and working capital management
  • Contribute to the implementation and improvement of internal controls

Strategic Projects
  • Support M&A integration activities and transformation projects
  • Participate in ERP and BI implementation or optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with ARCHIMED teams on performance monitoring and strategic initiatives

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in controlling, FP&A, audit, or corporate finance
  • Experience in a private equity-backed company is highly valued
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent business partnering and communication abilities
  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems/BI tools proficiency
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
