Job Overview
The Insights Lead South Europe Cluster is responsible for leading end-to-end consumer and market insight generation to support strategic and operational decision-making across the region.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing South Europe Cluster, this is a role that plays a critical part in embedding a data-driven and consumer-centric approach across the organization.
Operating in a multi-country environment (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal), the role requires strong analytical expertise, stakeholder influence, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Consumer & Market Insights Generation
- Lead end-to-end consumer and shopper insight generation across qualitative and quantitative research
- Analyze market, category, and competitive data (e.g. Nielsen, Kantar) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support growth agenda including penetration, brand awareness, and behaviour change
Advanced Analytics & Data Utilization
- Apply advanced analytics techniques such as segmentation, forecasting, and predictive modeling
- Leverage AI and machine learning tools for trend detection, sentiment analysis, and demand forecasting
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for business teams
Reporting, Tools & Data Visualization
- Design, maintain, and automate dashboards and reporting solutions using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Ensure accessibility, consistency, and reliability of key business data
- Drive adoption of data visualization and insight tools across the cluster
Business Partnering & Strategic Influence
- Partner with Marketing, Category, Sales, Finance, and Data/IT teams to shape data-driven strategies
- Support leadership with insight-based recommendations for key decisions
- Drive a consumer-centric mindset across the organization
Cross-Market Alignment & Governance
- Harmonize insight methodologies, tools, and frameworks across markets
- Ensure consistency while adapting to local market dynamics and maturity levels
- Share best practices and build a common insight language across the cluster
External Partners Management
- Manage research agencies, data providers, and analytics partners
- Ensure quality, relevance, and cost efficiency of external insights
- Drive continuous improvement of insight generation capabilities
Qualifications
Experience & Capabilities
- Strong experience in consumer insights, market research, or data analytics
- Proven track record in FMCG or consumer goods, ideally in a multi-market environment
Technical Skills
- Advanced expertise in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data visualization
- Strong knowledge of syndicated data sources (Nielsen, Kantar, IRI/Circana equivalents)
- Advanced analytical skills: segmentation, forecasting, predictive modeling
- Exposure to AI / machine learning applications in insights or marketing

- Strong ability to translate complex data into clear business storytelling
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong project management capabilities in multi-country environments
- Ability to operate with autonomy and influence without authority
- Strategic mindset combined with strong commercial awareness
Languages
- English mandatory, French required
- Additional language: Italian and/or Spanish is a strong plus
