Within the Group, you will join the Group Underwriting Office department
Within this Department, you will be part of the Life & Health Claims team.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- What you'll do
The intern will support the team in the following activities:
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of GUO data and analytics standards & guidelines.
• Support the development of methodologies to enable entities to drive claims monitoring and analytics leveraging data and AI.
• Leverage data visualization techniques to present findings, trends, and key performance indicators in a clear and understandable manner.
• Support the development and enhancement of statistical models to feed into claims leakage reviews (CFR process).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and entities to develop technical excellence in data and AI techniques.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in data & claims analytics to feed into AXA's data strategy.
YOUR PROFILE
Who you are
Education
• Master's or MBA student from a business school, engineering school or university.
• Internship agreement / convention de stage required.
Technical skills
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to structure analysis, synthesize information and build clear business presentations.
• Good understanding of project management and business process transformation.
• Knowledge in digitalization, automation and artificial intelligence.
• Initial exposure to information systems, data analysis or process mapping is a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance, claims, health business or healthcare ecosystems is a plus.
Languages
• Fluent English is required.
• Spanish is a plus.
Personal qualities
• Strong listening skills and ability to understand business needs from different stakeholders.
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Autonomy, rigor and reliability in project follow-up.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to propose new ideas.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to interact with local entities and global teams.
