Compensation: €2,925 - €4,700 / month

Description

PurposeThe account manager is responsible for strengthening partnerships and building corporate relationships with existing clients and bringing in new accounts through business development activities. Your mission will be to drive revenue by building a pipeline of long-term relationships with your clients, functioning as their trusted advisor, and partnering with them to maximize account growth. You'll also own renewing your accounts and cross-selling adjacent products from across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow new business opportunities in designated market by closing new accounts
  • Manage medium- to large-sized accounts from source markets through strong relationship-building and partnership expansion during the RFP season
  • Own client contract renewals, and upsells/cross-sells of adjacent citizenM offerings
  • Build an excellent GSO relationship in your market to strengthen corporate opportunities via Marriott
  • Be a commercial ambassador for the citizenM brand (creating awareness for a disruptive brand in a traditional industry) during industry networking events, sales trips and on-site client entertainment.


Qualifications / skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
  • Able to submit and process RFPS via designated systems and sign local agreements with corporate clients
  • Ability to build local network of travel industry contacts-
    existing network with corporate travel buyers is a strong advantage
  • Business development savvy, constantly filling the sales funnel. Proven hunter mentality with a track record of winning new business and exceeding new business targets
  • Ability to be a problem solver, and effectively prioritize work and initiatives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Assertive, outgoing, and confident. You thrive on the thrill of the close; you don't wait for business to come to you
  • A bachelor's degree, with a background in hotel sales, travel management, or a related hospitality environment, is highly desirable

Location/ hours
  • Role based in Paris in a hybrid setting. This is a full-time role. Regular travel is expected.
