Chief Financial Officer
Vizzia
Paris, Île-de-France 75000, France
CDI
Context
250+ local authorities rely on Vizzia to keep their streets cleaner and safer - and the ambition is to scale well beyond that, in France and internationally. Getting there turns finance into a genuine engine for decisions: every major arbitrage - accelerating a lever, opening or closing a market, pricing a product, financing client contracts - needs to be backed by clear numbers.
We're looking for a CFO to own the finance function end to end and shape Vizzia's financial trajectory: capital structure, financing levers, and the value-creation path, with M&A optionality down the line. You'll hold a full seat on the COMEX and be a real business partner to the leadership team on the calls that decide where Vizzia goes next. The finance function is still being built - the current team is two people (accounting + FP&A) and will grow with the business.
This is a build role as much as a steering one, with meaningful equity in a company whose value you'll directly help create. There's a lot to build from the ground up, and it's demanding - for the right person, that's exactly the appeal.
What You'll Do
1. Be a business partner to the COMEX
2. Own the financing and capital levers
3. Build the financial system and lead the team
4. Own Vizzia's fundraising strategy
What Success Looks Like In 12 Months
Who You Are
An appetite for hardware or operations-heavy businesses is a plus, not a requirement. This role is based in Paris with near full-time office presence (COMEX norm). It's demanding, with a lot still to build - and that's the point: we're looking for someone who wants exactly that.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary ranging between 130K€ and 170K€ (fixed + variable)
Hybrid work
Contrat cadre and RTT (between 8 and 12 days per year depending on public holidays)
A Mac or PC depending on your preferences
BSPCE
60% coverage of meal vouchers worth €9 per worked day
/ Sustainable mobility allowance
Mutuelle (Alan)
Offices located in central Paris (9th arrondissement)
Annual offsite with the whole team and plenty of company events
If you've read this far, you're probably very interested in the role and/or Vizzia. We'd like to hear from you even if you feel ou don't check every box.

This is a build role as much as a steering one, with meaningful equity in a company whose value you'll directly help create. There's a lot to build from the ground up, and it's demanding - for the right person, that's exactly the appeal.
What You'll Do
1. Be a business partner to the COMEX
- Run scenarios that let the leadership team make real calls: opening or holding back on a market (e.g. international expansion), accelerating a growth lever, or reshaping the operating model
- Bring the financial read on strategic trade-offs - impacts, what's gained, what's lost - and hold a clear point of view, including on whether to keep or exit a given market
- Give the COMEX the keys to decide, without blocking initiatives in a company that takes deliberate risks
2. Own the financing and capital levers
- Activate financial levers most CFOs never touch: financing client contracts through debt over longer engagements, outsourcing lower-margin operations where it makes sense
- Review supplier contracts (including cloud/AWS spend as it grows) and push client contracts toward longer commitments
- Shape the capital structure and the value-creation path, keeping M&A optionality open
3. Build the financial system and lead the team
- Produce clean, clear monthly reporting and put automation in place so the close doesn't mean redoing manual work every month
- Set up the reporting and modelling foundations (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) the company can rely on to decide
- Manage the current team (accounting + FP&A), make each person autonomous on their scope, and scale it as complexity grows
4. Own Vizzia's fundraising strategy
- Get the company fundraise-ready and pilot eventual rounds in good conditions
- Advise on the amount, the partners, and the negotiations, with an investor-ready data room
What Success Looks Like In 12 Months
- Monthly reporting is clean, clear and automated - no more redoing the close by hand each month
- The finance team runs autonomously, each person owning their scope
- You're an active business partner at the COMEX, turning numbers into decisions the leadership team acts on
- The financing levers and data are in place to pilot whatever comes next
Who You Are
- You have deep, hands-on financial expertise: you've built reporting, modelling and close processes yourself, not just supervised them, and you can explain the "how", not only the "what".
- You've worked in a business with genuinely complex flows: working capital, inventory, purchasing - manufacturing, assembly or deployment-heavy operations.
- You've been through scale-up hyper-growth, where processes change every few months and you have to lead the change rather than wait for things to settle.
- You understand the SaaS business and its metrics well.
- You've prepared and piloted a fundraise, and can advise on amount, partners and negotiations.
- You communicate clearly, take a position and hold it at exec level, without blocking every initiative in a company that takes deliberate risks.
