What you will do in your day to day...

We are looking for a Structured Finance Director in Paris responsible for leading and executing structured finance transactions across all product verticals for the French market.
The role will oversee the origination, structuring, execution and monitoring of these opportunities, in line with the Bank's commercial strategy and management guidelines.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Define and develop, the commercial strategy for the French Structured Finance business across Corporate & Acquisition Finance, Project & Asset Finance and Commercial Real Estate, supporting its implementation with the local team.
• Collaborate with the global product teams (Project Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Finance and Syndicate Desk) to adapt product capabilities to the specific needs of the French market.
• Lead the preparation of financing proposals (RFPs, term sheets), client presentations and marketing initiatives, working closely with Corporate Banking teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, sponsors, financial institutions and market participants in France to maximise deal origination.
• Analyse business plans, develop and review complex financial models, and perform company valuations when required.
• Review commercial, legal, technical, environmental and financial due diligence reports.
• Lead internal credit approval processes, presenting transactions to Credit Committees and coordinating with Risk teams throughout the approval process.
• Oversee the execution and documentation of bilateral and syndicated transactions, coordinating with Legal, Syndications, Corporate Banking, Derivatives, Rating and other internal stakeholders until successful closing and portfolio handover.
• Support Syndicate & Sales teams in transaction distribution strategies and business development initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and sector developments to identify new opportunities and strengthen Banco Sabadell's market positioning.
• Represent Banco Sabadell at industry conferences, client events and specialised forums, contributing to the Bank's visibility and market presence.

What we value...

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
• Master's degree in Corporate Finance or CFA qualification is highly valued.
• Native French.
• Fluent English.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish is highly valued.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and financial modelling.
• Previous experience as a Director, Senior VP or VP Structured Finance within an international or investment bank, with 8-15 years of relevant experience.
• Proven expertise in structuring and executing complex syndicated and bilateral financing transactions.
• Strong experience in financial modelling, credit analysis and company valuation.
• Solid knowledge of Investment Banking products and structured finance solutions.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative risk assessment skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financing solutions to clients, sponsors and senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, managing multiple complex transactions and tight deadlines.
• Experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly valued: Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Asset Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Hospitality, Corporate Finance and Acquisition Finance.
• A resilient, commercially driven professional with excellent leadership skills, capable of building relationships across the French market and originating new business opportunities.
