Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

About the role

Alstom is accelerating its Product Lifecycle Management transformation through PLM4A, the company's global PLM program built on Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE, supporting the full lifecycle from engineering to industrialisation and services.

To reinforce the coherence between Product Line transformation ambitions and digital solution evolution, Alstom is opening a PLM4A Solution Integration Lead position.

This role operates at program level, supporting the PLM4A Program Director.
Its purpose is to connect business transformation ambitions with what digital platforms can realistically deliver, ensuring that PLM4A evolves as a coherent, scalable and impactful solution across Product Lines.

Job purpose / Mission

The PLM4A Solution Integration Lead plays a central role at the intersection of Product Line transformation ambitions and digital solution capabilities.

The role bridges the business transformation objectives of the Product Lines-including the optimisation and, where relevant, the disruption of business processes-with the functional and technological capabilities of digital suites such as 3DEXPERIENCE.

By structuring and aligning Product Line priorities and ambitions with platform capabilities, constraints and evolution paths, the Solution Integration Lead ensures that PLM4A solution trajectories are both transformational from a business perspective and realistic from a technology standpoint.

Acting between Product Lines (including their métiers) and Digital Services, the role ensures that long-term solution evolution, release content and governance decisions are coherent, well prepared and aligned with the program roadmap.

Key responsibilities

1. Connect Product Line transformation ambitions with digital capabilities
  • Engage with Product Line teams to understand their transformation ambitions, including process optimisation and potential process disruption.
  • Analyse how these ambitions can be supported by PLM4A and digital platforms such as 3DEXPERIENCE, considering both opportunities and constraints.
  • Ensure realistic alignment between business transformation objectives and digital solution capabilities over time.

2. Structure and consolidate Product Line priorities
  • Consolidate Product Line priorities and ambitions into clear, structured themes at program level.
  • Identify convergence and divergence points across Product Lines.
  • Prepare Product Line contributions so they can be effectively addressed through program governance and solution roadmaps.

3. Address transversal topics across Product Lines
  • Drive transversal topics requiring alignment across Product Lines (process convergence, data topics, governance principles, usage patterns).
  • Facilitate cross-PL discussions while preserving Product Line ownership of business decisions.
  • Support arbitration on transversal topics when required at program level.

4. Contribute to long-term solution evolution
  • Support the definition of long-term solution and functional trajectories, in coordination with Product Lines and Digital Services.
  • Translate Product Line ambitions into roadmap-ready themes feeding release planning.
  • Ensure coherence between transformation objectives, platform evolution and program sequencing.

5. Prepare and animate governance on solution evolutions
  • Prepare and animate governance discussions related to solution evolutions and enhancements.
  • Consolidate and clarify Product Line priorities ahead of roadmap and release decisions.
  • Ensure consistency between business intent, solution evolution and technical feasibility.

6. Support program coherence and transparency
  • Provide the Program Director with structured views on transversal topics, opportunities and risks.
  • Contribute to executive-level materials with a focus on transformation coherence and solution trajectory.
  • Support communication and change teams with clear, business-grounded narratives.

Profile
  • Strong experience in PLM, engineering, industrialisation or large-scale digital transformation programs.
  • Proven ability to understand business process transformation ambitions without acting as a business owner.
  • Solid understanding of digital platforms and constraints (ideally 3DEXPERIENCE).
  • Strong structuring, synthesis and facilitation skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a complex, senior, matrix organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to bridge business and technology perspectives.

Why join PLM4A
  • Play a key role in one of Alstom's most strategic digital transformation programs.
  • Operate at the intersection of business transformation and digital innovation.
  • Shape long-term solution trajectories impacting multiple Product Lines.
  • High-exposure role within a global governance framework.
