What You Can Expect

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will drive the implementation of Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives across the Toulouse site (80% of your time) and, to a lesser extent, Montpellier (20%). You will support manufacturing teams in identifying and eliminating operational waste, improving quality, delivery performance, and cost efficiency. Working closely with Engineering and Operations, you will lead improvement projects, train employees on Lean tools and methodologies, and help translate site strategy into sustainable shop-floor practices.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Implementation of Lean Kanban, JIT, Kaizen, Jidoka, Heijunka, 5S, Visual Management, and other lean philosophies at production site to improve overall flow of materials and information
  • Execute Operational assessments and identify initial gaps while creating specific development action plans to address the gaps
  • Support curriculum development and refine training material used to deploy the Lean Manufacturing philosophy
  • Perform program management activities with site specific projects while monitoring operation progress against stated objectives and goals
  • Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training / workshops to drive cultural change
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/ business and assembly issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, facility design and create process documentation
  • Drive value stream mapping to define "As-Is Analysis" and the transition to Future State
  • Develop and conduct compliance audits, program evaluations and reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure change is permanent


What Makes You Stand Out

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Initial hands-on experience applying Lean principles and/or delivering Lean training within a fast-paced industrial environment (ideally pharmaceutical, automotive, aerospace, or similar manufacturing sectors)
  • Experience supporting or contributing to digitalization and continuous improvement projects is welcomed


Your Background

  • Proven ability to define project goals and objectives, monitor progress, and provide clear reporting to Stakeholders
  • Strong affinity for IT systems and digital tools; experience with SAP, particularly in planning and scheduling activities, is advantageous
  • Professional proficiency in French and good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong performance, with excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and results-oriented, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional Teams


Travel Expectations

Willingness to travel up to 15% within the scope of the role.
