SPX FLOW is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our global service team in France. This role is critical in delivering high-quality maintenance, repair, and commissioning services for SPX FLOW and non-SPX equipment across customer sites.
You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service execution while supporting customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Field Service Engineer is responsible for executing service orders from planning through completion, including on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, reporting, and customer coordination.
This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on mechanical and hydraulic skills, and a proactive approach to solving customer challenges in dynamic field environments.

What We're Looking For
• Technical background in service, maintenance, or industrial engineering
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent English required; French or Spanish is a plus
• Valid driver's license required
Travel & Working Conditions
Occasional remote work as per local HR policies
Annual salary: 32 000 - 38 000 EUR, depending on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities
Service Execution & Customer Support
- Execute service orders from planning to final customer acceptance
- Perform mechanical and hydraulic maintenance on industrial equipment
- Support equipment restart after maintenance activities
- Act as technical point of contact at customer sites
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
Technical Planning & Coordination
- Define required tools, materials, and resources for service execution
- Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, automation, and commissioning
- Support maintenance engineers and service coordinators for smooth execution
- Ensure proper documentation and submission of service reports
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all activities comply with EHS and SPX FLOW safety standards
- Identify and manage risks during service execution
- Follow company procedures and quality standards at all times
- Assist in warranty and quality issue resolution
Collaboration & Support Functions
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Installation, and Commissioning teams
- Support technical problem-solving and service improvements
- Contribute to continuous improvement and service excellence initiatives
