At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Internal Control Specialist to join Eni Plenitude France.

Main responsibilities:

Internal Control
  • Develop and maintain the company's risk assessment framework.
  • Conduct an annual Fraud Risk Assessment.
  • Understand the company's key operational and financial processes, identify major risks (including fraud and IT-related risks) with business stakeholders, and define the key controls required to mitigate them.
  • Support the promotion and embedding of a strong internal control culture across the organisation.

SOX Controls
  • Implement and continuously improve SOX controls in coordination with the Group.
  • Coordinate, train, and supervise control testers.

Operational Controls
  • Design, implement, and monitor operational controls.
  • Conduct functional audits.

Audit Monitoring and Reporting
  • Monitor internal and external audits and provide reporting to Management and the Group.

IT Control Coordination and Monitoring
  • Review Segregation of Duties (SoD), identify corrective actions, and update functional matrices in collaboration with IT Internal Control.
  • Validate requirements for enhancements to technical and functional roles.
  • Review system access rights, ensuring approval workflows are aligned with delegation-of-authority rules.

Skills and experience required:
  • Graduate of a business school, Master's degree (Master 2), or engineering school, with a specialisation in audit.
  • Relevant experience in audit (internal or external).
  • Self-motivated, meticulous, versatile, and well organised, with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proactive, solutions-oriented, and possessing strong common sense.
  • Knowledge of the SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, SAP, and Kraken would be a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in English.
