As Junior Marketing Manager, you will support the development of strategic market and consumer understanding across Fabric Care, Home Care and Personal Care categories. You will partner closely with Sales, Evaluation and Creative teams to identify business opportunities, support client engagement and contribute to winning fragrance projects through compelling storytelling and innovative concepts.

You will play an important role in translating market insights into inspiring client presentations and actionable business recommendations.

The position is based in Argenteuil, France and reports to our Local & Regional Sales Director.

Your main responsibilities include:

Market and Consumer Understanding

• Build in-depth market and consumer understanding for assigned categories including Fabric Care, Home Care and Personal Care
• Analyse market trends, consumer behaviours and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities
• Foster knowledge sharing and collaboration among marketing teams across categories and regions

Marketing Programs and Concept Development

• Identify client brand white spaces and develop innovative concept directions
• Create engaging concepts including storytelling, copywriting and visual recommendations in collaboration with creative teams
• Support fragrance submissions with relevant storytelling and olfactive positioning
• Assist in the design and execution of marketing programs tailored to client needs

Client Engagement and Business Support

• Create, deliver and support impactful client presentations
• Tailor Givaudan's value proposition to specific customer needs and market opportunities
• Support Key Account Managers during client meetings, presentations and inspiration sessions
• Partner with Sales and Evaluation teams to define the most appropriate olfactive direction for client briefs
• Recommend product and portfolio opportunities through gap analysis and market assessment

Your profile:

• University degree in Business, Marketing or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in marketing or a related function, ideally within the fragrance industry. More experienced profiles will also be considered.
• Strong understanding of market trends, consumer insights and brand positioning
• Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable marketing recommendations
• Understanding of B2B and B2C marketing principles
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to develop compelling client-facing materials
• Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
