Mission confiée

Fault-tolerant quantum computation is key in the quest to build a large-scale quantum computer. Recent advances in high-rate codes like low-density parity-check codes have begun to reduce the resource requirements for fault-tolerant systems, but there is still much to do. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will conduct research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing, with opportunities to explore topics such as:
  • Construction and analysis of quantum error-correcting codes
  • Design and benchmarking of fault-tolerant logical gates
  • Development and implementation of decoding algorithms
  • Investigation and optimisation of logical compilation protocols
  • Fault-tolerant architecture design

Your work will strengthen COSMIQ's reputation for high-quality research in quantum error correction and fault tolerance, shaping the future of quantum technology.
